Employment and Labor Staff Attorney - Stamford, CT

Position Overview

Day Pitney’s Employment & Labor group is seeking a staff attorney to join our growing team in Stamford, CT.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in representation of employers in all aspects of employment litigation and counseling, including familiarity with issues arising under ADA, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, FLSA, FMLA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Title VII, WARN and corresponding state law statutes. We are looking for candidates who are excited about taking on more responsibility and who are able to take a litigation matter from initial investigation, through pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation. Experience defending charges before the CHRO and EEOC is preferred. This is a non-partnership track position.

Day Pitney's Labor and Employment team advises clients on a broad range of labor and employment issues and the evolving law in this area. The team’s goal is to limit clients' legal risk and to achieve practical and cost-efficient solutions for all workplace issues. They partner with clients to understand the nuances of their unique workplace and to craft advice for the best possible outcome.

  • CT bar admission in good standing (NY bar admission is a plus)
