Energy Transactional Associate/Counsel - Preference Hartford, CT

We are seeking an attorney with at least 3 years of transactional experience in the energy industry and who is looking for an opportunity to grow their practice through interesting and sophisticated work, close team collaboration, pro bono opportunities and mentoring. Our preference is for an attorney in Hartford but we would also consider applicants in Boston or Washington. DC. This attorney would assist and, depending on experience, potentially assume first-chair responsibility on energy transactions, including M&A, equity participation, loans, joint ventures, negotiation and drafting of contracts, including power purchase agreements, energy services agreements, engineering, procurement and construction arrangements, and related arrangements associated with the development of energy and infrastructure projects and supporting off-take arrangements. The ideal candidate should have excellent technical, professional and client service skills. In addition, excellent academic credentials and written and oral communication skills are required. Admission to appropriate state bar is required.
