Bob Appleton Serves on Panel Discussing Trends in Whistleblower Protection Policies

November 3, 2014

On November 3, Day Pitney partner Bob Appleton served as one of three panelists/presenters for "Truth and Consequences: Whistleblowers, Trolls and the Erosion of Anonymity," in Lower Manhattan. The panel appeared before an audience of more than 200 prominent New York City business leaders, members of the press, practicing lawyers, state and federal government officials, Wall Street investors and bankers. The event was an open discussion of recent trends in whistleblower protection policies in the public and private sector, with an emphasis on the importance and possible futility of preserving the anonymity of whistleblowers in the advanced technological and digital age.
