A Practitioner's Guide to Balancing Government and Employee Interests in Disputes Involving Classified Information

January 30, 2019

On January 30, Steven Cash, counsel in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, will be speaking on "A Practitioner's Guide to Balancing Government and Employee Interests in Disputes Involving Classified Information," a panel discussion presented by the Bar Association of the District of Columbia (BADC) Committee on National Security Law, Policy & Practice (NSLPP). Cash will be joined by panelists, including current and former Intelligence Agency officials, to discuss best practices for reconciling the conflicting interests of government attorneys and opposing counsel over the handling of classified information.

Cash serves on the BADC Board and co-chairs its NSLPP Committee. Prior to joining Day Pitney, he served as Chief Counsel to Senator Dianne Feinstein, an Intelligence Officer with the Central Intelligence Agency and an Assistant District Attorney with the New York County District Attorney's Office.
