Day Pitney LLP and Ansonia co-hosted an invitation-only 2019 Roundtable Event: The Balance of Power at the Grand Lobby of the Hippodrome in New York City. The event featured a lively roundtable discussion moderated by partner David Doot, chair of Day Pitney's Energy and Utilities industry group, with panelists Lisa Barton, Executive Vice President at American Electric Power; Philip Moeller, Executive Vice President at Edison Electric Institute; Bill Bush, Chief Financial Officer at Stem, Inc. and Ryan Brown, Executive Vice President at EDP Renewables. The discussion focused on key issues and developments affecting the industry, with emphasis on the roles of distribution utilities, transmission, renewable generation and new players working directly with select electric customers to optimize their energy usage. The event drew more than 60 attendees, including many prominent players in the energy industry and began and ended with a networkin reception, with dinner served during the event.
