Jonathan Tropp co-authored an article for the Intellectual Property Owners Association on the impact of the America Invents Act. The article, which notes the new law is "the most significant overhaul of the U.S. patent system since 1952," focuses specifically on the law's misjoinder provision, one of the first parts of the act to go into effect. It also discusses the impact the law began to have immediately upon enactment on certain patent litigation strategies.
