Inside Counsel publishes the second part of the article co-authored by Day Pitney partner Andrew Riddles and associate Eric TeVelde titled, "The value of patent opinions after the America Invents Act (Part 2)." The column, which appeared in the May 30 digital issue of the magazine, explains the importance of patent opinions in patent litigation even after the enactment of section 298 within the America Invents Act, which removed failure to obtain or present advice of counsel as a basis for establishing willful or induced infringement.
