John McLafferty authored an article, "Mass. Sick Leave Law Will Pain Small Employers The Most," for Law360. He discusses the impact of the newly approved Massachusetts ballot question, which amends the state's Wage Act to require employers to provide sick leave. He notes that, "[u]nlike many other earned sick leave laws on the books or under consideration, the new Massachusetts law applies to employers of all sizes."
