On October 26, the Connecticut Senate and House of Representatives voted to give final legislative passage to a 2017-2019 biennium budget (the Budget Act). The Budget Act was signed into law by the Governor on October 31. Section 64 of the Budget Act amends Section 10-287i of the Connecticut General Statutes to increase the amount of school building project progress payment grants withheld by the state from five percent (5%) to eleven percent (11%).
