Sam Caligiuri Discusses Insurance Regulation and Public Feedback on Law360

In light of the recent news that a Texas Insurance Department employee blocked hundreds of emails from an advocacy group voicing complaints about homeowners' insurance, Sam Caligiuri commented on the responsibility of regulators to listen to the public. In the August 15 Law360 article, Sam said that, "As a general rule, whether consumer feedback is coming to you by way of an organized campaign or not really shouldn't matter." He added, "You've got an obligation to take every consumer inquiry seriously."
