Charlie Lenore is quoted in a June 28 article in The Courant which looks at Connecticut's upcoming tax amnesty program. He says the program could potentially bring new revenues for the state. "Out-of-state businesses may use it as an opportunity to come forward and start filing," he notes. But he also says that the additional penalty feature of the program, which will apply to those who are eligible for amnesty but do not take it, could be problematic in situations where it's not clear "whether or not you're supposed to file." He says: "There's lots of times when things are gray."
