Dillon Stadium Redevelopment Possibly Dead

Publisher: The Hartford Business Journal
October 9, 2015

Shawn Wooden was quoted in the articles "Dillon Stadium redevelopment possibly dead" in The Hartford Business Journal and "After Revelations, Hartford Council Seeks To Slow Soccer Stadium Process" and "Hartford Has Paid $1.8M To Subsidiary Of Would-Be Dillon Stadium Developer" in The Hartford Courant. Wooden, who is Hartford City Council President explains how certain revelations that a key developer has a 16-year-old felony conviction for embezzlement and more recent legal judgments for unpaid debts has made him decide he won't support the stadium redevelopment. Wooden also explained that he has concerns about Black Diamond's ability to finance the deal.
