Christopher Stracco Appointed to Green Hill Board of Trustees

Publisher: Day Pitney Press Release
February 11, 2016

On February 11, Christopher Stracco was appointed to the Board of Trustees of client Green Hill, Inc. Green Hill is a non-profit retirement community located in West Orange, New Jersey, and a long-standing client of the firm. Founded in 1866, the then, Society for the Relief of Respectable Aged Women opened a small residence for 13 women in Newark, New Jersey, which became the foundation for Green Hill. The community, ultimately, grew to house 60 seniors, and the facility added nursing care in 1880. Following a merger in 1958, the current property, the former Green Hill Hotel on Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange, New Jersey, was purchased. The property has expanded, and recently, in 2011, added new innovations known as Green House Homes, which provide detached communal dwellings for its residents. Day Pitney partner Lori Braender also currently serves as Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees.
