Trump's allies are drowning in legal fees from the Russia probes

April 25, 2018

Stan Twardy was quoted in an article, "Trump's allies are drowning in legal fees from the Russia probes," published by CNBC. The article focuses on the financial implications of being involved in a federal investigation, particularly with respect to former Trump campaign advisor Michael Caputo as part of the inquiries into Russian interference with the 2016 presidential election. According to the article, Caputo noted the importance of being "thoroughly prepared" in a congressional hearing. Twardy told CNBC he agreed that preparation is crucial, despite its expense. "You don't want to say anything false, because you could go from witness" to worse, he said. Twardy further commented that becoming a subject or a target in a case will likely exacerbate the time and money involved.
