Tom Goldberg and Scott Beach were quoted in an article, "Day Pitney Lawyers Bullish About Stamford Move," published by the Stamford Advocate. The article focuses on the firm's Stamford office relocation from Canterbury Green, where it has operated for more than 30 years, to 1 Stamford Plaza, set to take place during the first quarter of 2019. The new location will be closer to the city's downtown Metro-North station, allow for more efficient use of space, and provide employees and clients with additional amenities. In addition, the article notes the recent growth in the number of lawyers in the firm's Stamford office, including the corporate group's doubling in size over the past year.
Goldberg told The Advocate, "Fairfield County remains critical to the fabric of this firm, in terms of our strategy and on-the-ground presence here." As noted in the article, the firm's clients range from individuals to Fortune 100 companies and areas of focus include corporate and business law, litigation, and trusts and estates work across 11 locations on the East Coast. "Many of our high-net-worth clients, family offices and investment firms tend to have locations and residences in multiple jurisdictions along the East Coast," Beach commented. "Being able to service their needs in those areas and having lawyers in Boston, New York, D.C., and in south Florida actually helps service our Fairfield County-based clients."
