Day Pitney Boston-based Energy Counsel Eric Runge was quoted in Engineering News-Record article, "U.S. Offshore Wind: Moving Power to the People." Runge discussed how interconnection queue delays can impact power purchase agreements.

Runge stated during Day Pitney's "Offshore Wind: Transmission and Interconnection Issues and Potential Solutions," webinar that "interconnection queue delays can impact [power purchase agreement] milestones for commercial operation. These milestones don't always consider the challenges of transmission and interconnection." He added "large projects coming ashore also can raise big issues when the transmission system near the shore is unused to large injections of power."
