Making the Business Case for Diversity and Inclusion

Publisher: Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly
February 21, 2020

Tommy Shi, the firm's director of diversity and inclusion, is featured in an article, "Making the Business Case for Diversity and Inclusion," published by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. The Q&A-style piece recaps discussions from a December 2019 panel focusing on diversity initiatives, challenges and best practices for organizations, moderated by Shi. Panelists included Ronald Allen of Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Marianne Monte of Shawmut Design and Construction, Ingrid Chiemi Schroffner of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services and Raquel J. Webster of National Grid. Among his commentary, Shi says, " can have all the diversity in the world in an organization or a team, but if you don't have an inclusive environment, then you have nothing."
