Lauren Grillo represents institutional clients, real estate developers and financial institutions in the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of commercial real estate. Her experience includes drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements; retail, industrial and office leases, preparing loan documents; all aspects of due diligence, including reviewing title and surveys; and drafting conveyancing documents. Lauren also has extensive experience negotiating and drafting large-scale construction contracts.
Prior to entering private practice, Lauren worked within a publicly traded real estate investment trust handling the acquisition and leasing of single tenant industrial buildings. She prepared, negotiated and reviewed purchase and sales agreements, complex commercial leases and closing documents.
Represented a U.K.-based private equity firm purchasing hotels throughout the United States, including extensive due diligence in connection with the purchase of a $400 million hotel portfolio
Represented a publicly-traded real estate investment trust in acquiring industrial properties throughout the United States, including a $97 million portfolio purchase
Represented a private real estate investment firm in the acquisition of a $50 million, mixed-use retail and office property in Newton, MA.
Represented a NY-based real estate investment company purchasing properties throughout the southern region of the United States and counsel regarding joint venture entity formations and ancillary documents
Represented an owner in connection with a $150 million construction contract
