Gregory "Greg" Hayes advises individual clients on all aspects of their estate planning, including succession planning for family businesses and planning for distribution of retirement plan assets. He helps individuals and fiduciaries in the administration of complex estates and trusts and has substantial experience handling contested probate matters, including will contests and construction actions.
Greg is the former chair of Day Pitney's Individual Clients Department. He is a fellow of the prestigious American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel and a former member of the executive committee of the Estates and Probate Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He has been named to The Best Lawyers in America in trusts and estates. Greg has been published and regularly speaks on complex issues relating to private wealth.
Greg's charitable activities have included service on the board of directors of Literacy Volunteers of Connecticut and the DOMUS Foundation. He currently serves on the Fairfield County Community Foundation Board of Professional Advisors.
