David Lieberman represents clients in complex business and commercial disputes and tort litigation. He focuses on complex fraud claims, including representing relators and governments in False Claims Act Cases.
Prior to joining Day Pitney, David spent a year prosecuting environmental crimes, corruption and fraud as an Assistant Attorney General in the Massachusetts Attorney General's Criminal Bureau. He clerked for the Honorable Judge Bruce M. Selya of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Foreign Surveillance Court of Review.Represents the relator and numerous intervening government entities in False Claims Act case asserting fraud by maker of municipal and consumer water pipe, which proceeded to a successful jury verdict on the issue of liability
