Darian Butcher represents trustees, beneficiaries, heirs, guardians and conservators in contested and uncontested matters involving trusts, wills, estates, guardianships and conservatorships. Clients seek her experience in handling breach of fiduciary duty claims, actions involving reformation and termination of trusts, guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, and estate administration. Darian also represents clients in matrimonial and child custody disputes.
In addition, Darian assists business clients in complex commercial disputes. She represents them in litigation in state and federal courts and in arbitration. Her experience includes disputes involving reinsurance and products liability matters
Darian has co-authored several articles concerning changes to Massachusetts law and given presentations on legal ethics issues.
Darian clerked for the Honorable R. Malcolm Graham (Ret.) of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
