Danielle Corcione, an experienced trial lawyer, helps companies and individuals in connection with the defense of white collar criminal, healthcare fraud and complex civil litigation matters. She also has extensive experience counseling and advising on privacy and cyber risk issues.
Before joining Day Pitney, Danielle served as an assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. As a federal prosecutor, she was a member of the Health Care & Government Fraud Unit, where she investigated and prosecuted a range of matters, including healthcare fraud, anti-kickback, criminal HIPAA, mail fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, commercial bribery, and violations of both the Food Drug & Cosmetic Act and the False Claims Act. Danielle has successfully tried several cases to verdict.
In addition, Danielle was the Senior Privacy Counsel at an international cosmetics manufacturer, where she played a key role in the strategic development and implementation of the company’s privacy program to ensure continued compliance with privacy and data protection laws globally.
Prior to that time, Danielle was in private practice, where she gained substantive experience defending clients in white collar and civil matters.
