Jennifer Galiette is counsel in the firm's Energy and Utility Law Department. Her practice encompasses a wide range of matters, including regulatory litigation and renewable energy transactions. Jennifer represents clients in state regulatory proceedings and proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). She is a member of the team of lawyers serving as general counsel to the New England Power Pool (NEPOOL), a regional utility consortium engaged in the wholesale markets for electrical power.
Jennifer currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Public Utility Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. She is an active member of the Energy Bar Association and the Yale Alumni in Energy organization.
Jennifer is a 2008 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law where she was elected to the position of Lead Articles Editor on the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. During law school, Jennifer served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Joseph M. Shortall of the Hartford Superior Court's complex litigation docket. Jennifer earned her B.A. from Yale University in 2005, graduating with distinction.
