Michelle Moshe represents mortgage and loan servicers in complex consumer finance litigation. She handles disputes related to lending practices, loan origination, debt collection practices, loan servicing and deceptive business practices. Specifically, she defends clients against claims arising under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Deceptive Practices Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Housing Act and Homeowners Protection Act (HPA or PMI Cancellation Act), as well as a variety of state and common law claims. She has extensive experience responding to complaints involving the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau and the Attorney General.
Michelle has more than 15 years of experience in New York state and federal courts, handling complex litigation matters and analyzing them for risk, merit and strategy. She is a court certified mediator with highly developed skills in facilitating settlement discussions.
