Mary Rogers, a former chair of the firm's Labor and Employment group, divides her practice between employment litigation and counseling and the representation of management in traditional labor matters. She regularly represents large employers in the telecommunications, transportation, healthcare, pharmaceutical and energy industries in collective bargaining, rights and interest arbitration, and in NLRB and other administrative proceedings.
Mary has litigated numerous employment-related cases at trial and appellate levels in the state and federal courts involving Title VII, ADA, ADEA, NJLAD, retaliation, whistleblower, wrongful discharge and breach of contract claims. In addition, clients rely on her counsel for the development and implementation of policies and procedures, reductions in force, discipline and discharge as well as wage and hour concerns. She has considerable experience in privacy issues and in corporate compliance programs.
In the 2014 edition of Chambers USA, a client noted that Mary "is as honest as the day is long, hard-working, knowledgeable and creative in finding solutions. She also knows how to walk that fine line with a client in order to give good, clear and firm guidance while maximizing the client's needs for flexibility."
Mary holds a leadership position as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
