Felix Springer has more than 30 years of experience handling matters involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and civil rights violations. He has tried more than three dozen jury cases to a conclusion on behalf of management and argued 20 appeals in state and federal appellate courts, almost all as appellee. He also counsels and advises management regarding alternative dispute resolution, training supervisory employees, diversity and inclusion, reductions in force, sexual harassment and other employee investigations, hiring and termination, issues of defamation and privacy, employment agreements, employee handbooks and policies, covenants not to compete, and accommodation of the disabled.
According to the 2013 edition of Chambers USA, "Felix Springer has vast experience with discrimination cases. He is particularly commended for his calm demeanor at trial. Sources describe him as 'an incredible attorney' and 'a tremendous trial lawyer - the preparation this man does is just brutal. Truly remarkable.'"
Felix served as law clerk to John Cotter, chief justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court.
Felix's practice publishes Day Pitney's Employer's Law Blog (www.EmployersLawBlog.com), a weblog that presents the latest news in labor, employment, and employee benefits law.
