John Shriver represents clients in commercial transactions with special emphasis on intellectual property and technology issues. He is experienced in negotiating and drafting documentation for contractual transactions, including licensing and transfer of technology and intellectual property. John has advised software developers, distributors, computer and equipment manufacturers, service providers, biotechnology and life sciences companies in the acquisition, protection and exploitation of intellectual property, and the negotiation of licenses and other transactions.
John was a Summer Apprentice with the firm in 2012, and prior to that worked as a legal intern in the Connecticut State Attorney's Office, as an AmeriCorps Legal Advocate, and as an English teacher in Guadalajara, Mexico.
